Circle of Friendsby PDavisComment: Very cute, a nice collection of birds posed to make a nice composition. It looks as though it might be more effective turned upside-down, so the birds are looking up instead of down. |

Vibrant Hydrantby SharonSComment: Should this have gone into the Rusted challenge? The colors are amazing, is it rust or grafitti? By coming in so close, you've created a great abstract effect. Great shot. |

Dropping byby asijComment: Wow, that's what you call a closeup. It may be nitpicky, but I'd like to have seen enough DOF to bring the whole dandelion into focus. What kind of a bug is that, anyway? |

Bad hair dayby TLL061Comment: Seriously, you've never taken pictures of this kid before? It's a great shot, she shows the joy of youth and its simple pleasures. I guess in a few years, she'll probably quit enjoying activities that mess up her hair, but for now she's obviously happy with life. |

Early Morning Dew Dropsby KonadorComment: Very pretty - nice catch. Is it the early morning lighting that makes the leaf appear blue, rather than green? |

clock museumby suemackComment: This is an interesting viewpoint for a very interesting-looking building. It seems that the sky is perfectly exposed to the detriment of the forebround, losing most of the color in the plants and the details of the building. I think a little brightening in levels or curves coujld have improved this. |

leaving the woodsby AndelainComment: A lovely composition; I like the water and the building that shows only enough to create questions as to its nature without answering them. The colors are great, and the path adds to the interest. The only quibble is that the path gets cut off in the foreground, making it less identifiable as a path. |

My first flower pictureby TrollManComment: Great shot for a first try. I really like the detail, the color and the out-of-focus background that makes the flower stand out. This could be an entry in the Centered Subject challenge. Good choice of crop and beautiful colors. Take more flower pictures by all means.
