 New macro lens - never done any macro before! I was surpised at how round these beads of water that I found were.

I chose this deep blue colour to make it still appear it was night time.

Editing steps:
A few adjustments in RAW mode
Made a highlight on one of the back droplets a little less harsh
Resize
Sharpen

please contact me. amazing shot. I adore the blue color. This shot required MUCH work and effort. I've been doing and evaluating photgraphy for 43 years. This is a MUST HAVE for my gallery. But as stated, please contact me.
THIS should have taken one of the top 2 spots.

This is a nice shot! Excellent macro and DOF. I was lazy and didn't vote on all of the entries but I got close. Anyway, beautiful shade of blue and excellent detail in the drops of water. The only thing that bothers me is the reflection in the left side drop. I would have voted this an 8. Great work! BTW, which macro lens did you get?

Really like this, good DOF and the clarity in the two droplets is great. The only thing I would have liked different it so have seen less of the white glare in the droplets.

The blue creates a very unique effect... I'd like to se a little more depth of field to bring more drops into focus, but overall a great shot!

Really great shot. Good mood, nice capture of the beads of water. I gave it a six because I think it could benefit from much tighter cropping.
