The colors and textures on the building are arresting and outstanding. The waiting crowd seems almost an afterthought, though they are clearly the subject of the picture. What is the peril inside?

There's a definite sense of waiting here. I think a wide, panoramic crop would have conveyed the feeling more effectively; the tops of the buildings distract from the subject.

The use of silhouette is very effective, as is the choice of black and white. The picture immediately forces the viewer to wonder what she is waiting for.

Great colors, strong composition and interesting lighting - though there has to be a source other than the torch. One of the best in the challenge.

A lovely rendition of the the curves of the bridge, the plants at its base and the blue water. Also, the textures of stone and plants are great. It won't affect the score for the picture - but what a cornball title!

Great creatures, great shot. You've got their shaggy hair sharp enough to pick out the strands, and the colors are great. The blurred out background keeps the focus where it belongs - on the critters. One nitpicking detail, that headless beast in the background is distracting. I think cloning it out is legal in the advanced editing rules.

Box Lunches

Great sharpness lifts this somewhat mundane subject out of its surroundings and makes it pop. I can almost feel the texture of those bricks and weathered wood. I imagine lunches that are better than anything currently on the market, though I cannot imagine what might be in them.
