Jimminy!by DiamondPeteComment: Great choice of shot for delective desaturation. It would be near perfect with some sharper DOF. |

Medicinal Marijuanaby labudsComment: Nice texture and lighting on the glas, and a good idea for using desaturatin. Is one of those cigarettes filtered? That seems to contradict the medical marijuana theme. |

Attractionby ccraftComment: First impression: The butterfly should have been in color. Second impression: desaturating the butterfly makes this a spectacular picture, with both selective desaturation and selective DOF giving it tremendous depth. A definite 10. |

Cameroby drgsoellComment: I like the idea of using selective desaturation to make the Camaro stand out among the other cars. Cheers for cropping to an unconventional shape to home in on the cars. I find the half-figures on both sides somewhat distracting. |

Loved Onesby davidbedardComment: This photo has a lot of impact. I think it would be stronger if the crosses were centered; there's not a lot of interesting background on the left side of the photo. Sometimes it pays to break the "rule of thirds." |

Graffitiby TooCoolComment: Great use of selective color to make the graffiti stand out from their background. |

It's about the musicby koltrane75Comment: I like both the restrained use of color and the good rendition of texture and shape in the black and white parts of the photo. |

Love Is Like A Butterflyby browntComment: The butterfly is gorgeous against the desaturated leaves. I think green leaves would both clash with the overall butterfly and blended into the green edges. I'd love to know how you selected the delicate feelers to keep them colored while the background was desaturated. |
