Moon over radio hillby arngrimurComment: Those towers look like strange giants out in the dark, and the streak of red light adds a striking note. Great shot. |

Repetitive Pylonsby HeavyComment: I hope you didn't get your feet too wet taking this shot. Nice colors and textures, and a view we don't often get. |

to the Bird Sanctuaryby drydocComment: I like the dappled light effect on the boardwalk. I'm sure there's a bird sanctuary somewhere in there, but for the title to be meaningful to me I would have to see some birds - that doesn't affect the score, which is based on the picture, just an observation. |

The tree before the vanishingby jasonmccarthyComment: I think this picture would look more natural if the ground were darker relative to the lights. This looks like a daylight shot with lights on or a "night for day" through long exposure. |

Walking the Avenueby jonpinkComment: I like the path going off to the distance and the way the trees force the viewer to follow it. The figures give the photo some scale. Those very red leaves at the side look unnatural. I assume from the validatin that they are really that color, but they do detract from the overall effect. |

Riding Off Into the Horizonby annasenseComment: I really like the colors and textures; the lighting is just perfect to bring them out. The riders fill the width of the road, cutting off the sense of infinite distance it might otherwise have. Aside from that, a perfect shot. |

Bird Island Pier, Buffalo, NYby lwkimagesComment: The pier seems to go off into an infinity of distance, very nice. Nice texture on the pavement and a dark brooding sea. Wish there were more color in the sky, though. |

Gate Keeperby Pixel LadyComment: I like the way the fence seems to bound wild, untouched forest, and the way it goes off into the distance. I wish there were a little more detail in the "keeper," some more texture or shadow. |

What's your point?by luv2photoComment: Cute pun, but the description of the challenge was pretty specific about what meaning to give "vanishing point." It was all about perspective. |

Canopyby sincereheComment: Great shadows. The perspective pulls the eye into the picture, and the distant figure makes a perfect focal point. |
