The blow out in the middle can't be good; I know its symbolic of a bright sun, but its not fun to look at. THe composition and the girraffe placement are an A- or even better though.

perfect adn well executed. awesome black and gray and bright white and red. The only reason I wouldn't give it a ten, is that in my own mind I don't see it as a extraordinary photographic achievement, its a great technique that would work just as well on film. That being said, you still get a ten because its as good as anything else in the challenge, and much better than anything I could do; good luck.

Watch out for splinters. But seriously, I really like the darkness of exposure yets crispness around the shadows. You have to love a photo that leaves you wanting more.

I love the title. so many implications. I think the general public will find the focus of the shot, the crop and lots of other things terribly wrong with this shot. But i think it works, and I like the impressionist blur in the back.

but seriously, I think the muted colors and large negative space play beautifully off the tiny colorful idol. lots of movement in the photo, that makes it work.

I love the high key shine and all the shades of gray-thru-silver. perhaps the picture cries out for an area of pure black, for balance. I like the pose of the doll, too.
