Trees in winterby MelethiaComment: I absolutely love the shot and think it's one of your best. There is such a great tonal quality between the Green/Brown grass and the faded blue sky. The trees have no branches and reach up to the sky like arms and hands in a dance pose or perhaps in a morning yoga pose. There is a starkness and yet such Rich fullness. Perhaps a bit more cooperation from the sky and clouds would create a better background for the trees but still this is tremendous and deserves high praise. |

Lifelines by e301Comment: This is quite nice; you have a great movement achieved here; perhaps it shows how "organic" humans are, when viewed against a background of white and black stripes. It also has a quality bigger than the shot itself; a "walk into the light " sort of quality. A bigger spiritual meaning. nice. |

Coffeeby pitsamanComment: This picture is weird and outrageaous; up skirt and strange talk buble from armpit. I'd be curious to se more in this series. |

Above the Crowds by muur88Comment: I love the space created in this shot; the depth of the corners; the shades of black; the shape of the fireworks; I guess the shot would be more spectacular if the fireworks portion filled up a bigger portion of the fram, like Scavelt's winner, but in reality, you can't compromise the shot for the sake of formula. THis is a great shot that would make a terrific print, I am sure; good going. |

Seeds of Progressby theyetifanclubComment: I like this a whole lot. perhaps a thumb groove and a touch more darkness and focus for depth, but hell, its a nice interpretation. Message edited by author 2006-07-20 11:26:19. |

Centuries Apartby FirstyComment: I like the concept, but it is a bit to phallic and poor spear placement.
I like the blueish tint and the composition otherwise.
(And wait a minute, those don't look like warrior legs either! just a picky detail! good luck) |

Origin of Species the beginning of progressby adanielComment: Is this implying that humans come from chimps? I think they are a different branch, we are not direct descendants, ALTHOUGH THAT DOES LOOK LIKE MY GRANDFATHER NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT.
