Awakeningby kirbicComment: got to love mist! fantastically great yellow blue grey green. The size of the shot is distracting, but the adventurous path is established. |

"Back" Cover Girlby DougPazComment: pretty tricky; the head is a little big but you are a cunning trickster with a great eye for interesting elements, (the rolls on the shirt... the details on the chair) |

Summer Daysby dan_pendletonComment: The lighting, the composition, the pukey color green the shadows the bench placement, the girl in the back, the expression of the girl in front, the shape of the photo and the large dead area of grass on the bottom right all add up to make this shot truly unappealing. This is a higher standard, this is a "Masters' challenge." I wouldn't really want a print of this even if I liked little kid shots running around in formal dress. I'm sorry to be so critical, but I have to be honest. |

Golden Lightby JPRComment: Monkey pictures? The lighting is nice but when I put a shot of a gorilla in my portfolio, its normally a goof. The teat is too disturbing , and the knee/thigh is the focal point. I realize that many times you can control a scene and the lighting but if you advertise the lighting in the title, you best be aware that the composition is influenced by the lighting and the focal point is most likely where the darkest point meets the lightest point.
On the brighter side, This could be the king of all primate nude shots. |

Misty Morningby jodiecostonComment: I like mist but this is a bit boring and the reflection ruins the shot- I don't think I'd want a print of this, its not too appealing. But the color is decent, and the tree deep in the mist is pretty. |

The Hornetby rhipsterComment: I already saw a dragonfly- but this kicks its ass. This has a nice blue and tan color scheme and perfect focus. Great entry |

Split Bout....the inner struggleby graphicfunkComment: Well, Nice attempt at trickery and you have succeeded. Thank god for big megapixel sensors, cutting and pasting and the horizontal flip function in photoshop! Big fat guys aren't usually appealing, and the rule holds true here!(oh yeah, I wouldn;t want to see myself like this either- being a big fat guy!) But seriously, is this digital art class? photoshop 101? If so check your lighting, the guys head is poorly lit, and his ass and shoulders are both lit. Nice try. |

Solitudeby p_johnsComment: This is ok but it may be a bit dramatic. The sky on the left, the red clouds looks overly fake. The yellow on the right looks digital as well. |
