Gasolineby GringoComment: Nice detail. At first I did not appreciate the symmetry, but It works. You really waited for the perfect light and that is commendable. Perhaps the only complaint, --"clutter"? too much for the eye to soak in? |

In the Fangs of Shadowby librodoComment: compelling, slightly journalistic, slightly out of focus. very well done with a superb background, great detail and a nice level of contrast. |

The Walkby L1Comment: "I'll be back soon honey, just going to put the kids down" I love the title, the vague references in here, the power line looming like a crucifix, the black hat. AM I reading too much into it? I also like the weeds and grass on the close right, perhaps too much processing on the more distant weeds, good contrast to make a black adn white appear sepia. |

Graceful Departureby connieComment: lovely sunset. The great thing is that you captured the color essence of the whole sunset genre. blue/ teal/cobalt/ orange yellow. I love the late sunsets for this reason, and the dark beach draws a perfect line into the detailed water.I like it a lot. |

A Proud Birdby mariomelComment: great focus throughout the shot! from feathers to beak- you have made the most of a bird portrait adn the eagle really takes on a proud, predatory feeling. nice. |

The Kozakby smokeditorComment: This is a great portrait of a "character"- not essentially the person but the thing represented, as referenced through the title, perhaps crop a little less leg, or more horse- but those are nit-picketty random thoughts. nice blue, nice job! |

The Ruinby e301Comment: Beautifully pleasing colors and obviously a skilled post processor! I love the detail adn quality of the texture of teh building against the clouds. The area of darkness on the right does not add to the ominous feeling, and muddles the shot up. Nice though, looks like a travel poster for rural ireland or wales. |

Rachelby dsa157Comment: The shot is very compelling as a portrait. Most times people worry about the technicality of teh exposure, composition and lighting at the expense of capturing the emotion and essence of the subject. You have not achieved perfet exposure, overexposed imo, but the portrait works because of the captures essence and expression. you had the patience and direction to make it happen. |

Aloft by BradComment: great composition and clouds. I love the shadowy detail against the sail. Perhaps I would like better context for teh shot, les "cropping", showing more of the boat or horizon. I still like it better than most shots though. |
