I remember that the idea of the Black Swan event depends on the observer.
This being said, I believe that you mostly illustrated the title.
What I believe is a flaw here is the lack of a certain mathematical/geometrical meaning to your image: the cropping of the beautiful head of the swan seems random, more cropping might have had more impact or the entire graceful curve would have made it even better. There are more variables such as the grey triangle on the upper left corner, the indecisive composition.

One of the most literal illustration of the title of a masterpiece that does not send me one bit to think of the novel.
The sharpening is way to pronounced, the foreground is unnecessarily blurry. I feel that you have to take the picture again to give justice to this place

Well, we all remember a book differently and my score will not reflect the fact that I have a totally different recollection of this novel.
Your image looks very odd to me from a lot of points of view. It looks like an awkward collage heavily processed.

I did not read the book so I looked it up:
Cold Comfort Farm is a comic novel by English author Stella Gibbons, published in 1932. It parodies the romanticised, sometimes doom-laden accounts of rural life popular at the time
Your image seems to be a shoehorn for the title of the book. Moreover, I am not in favor of the processing and somehow disappointed by the presence of a landscape in this challenge that does not seem to have a real connotation with the novel. 4
