The man is singing and by total chance the lyrics appeared on the wall. A gem

That's it Marion. He did it!

I see some halos around the bird that appear with the high structure. You could reduce the opacity or just go around and erase the contour. But interestingly enough, because of the broken glass, the halos are not too disruptive.
This is not film noir yet, but has a good story. If you turn the white at the top of the car into black and add some discreet vignette the story can become more frightening

You are stepping into what is for me a dangerous field. For one who has interest in how the eye works this is cataract doubled by glaucoma!
I read a fascinating book called " A World Through Blunted Sight" by Trevor Roper. It's an inquiry into the influence of defective vision on Art and Character.

There is this contemporary painter Gerhardt Richter Richter - Cell
that paints sometimes like blurry photographs and some photographers who shoot like painters....and I am in two minds about this, unless I get totally taken by one or the other

The clouds raised their cape like a curtain to reveal the scenery. All is well in the world.

Karen, give a name to these images, don't let them be orphans.

I like elements of this shot, I like even the pastel effect but in its entirety I find it lacking something that would transport me "there".
I kept looking and thought that it was perhaps the reversed perspective of hues - now I know: I'd like the shadows to be more pronounced so that they'd support the bar of the swing and leave the man playing happily in a pool of light..
