I think that the quote made me guess the author, (some living near Montenegro, although the image could have been taken in southern France as well), but that's a trivial point.
I like it very much. It is a robust image that has violence and tenderness in the same time, some qualities that I personally appreciate in Ben's work.
A very fine shot indeed.

That's one for Ben, not of his though.

Ha, ha, great title for the Buddhist in Ben's! Very, very clever. The image though does not convince me, even if it's his.Perhaps the background is too dark ... perhaps the reeds do not flow with the wind ....
A good point for the approach.

Must say that I do not think that Ben frames his shots, especially the dreamy, nostalgic ones. The man seems too big for the scene. The shot is fine but the elements do not form a coherent image IMHO.

A classic good shot. In the style of Ben? Perhaps not exactly. Save for the subject and the sky. But a fine photograph.

I find this very good. The entire story, the ignored messenger, the Woody Allen type a bit freaked out, the hustle and bustle .... Perhaps I find this image very familiar to me - an ubiquitous scene around Times Square in Manhattan - but a familiar scene does not make a good shot.
Congratulations for a great candid.

I am mesmerized by this landscape. The ground is almost anthropomorphic - reminds me of a battle scene of the German painter Altdorfer, The Alexander Battle

Therefore, I do not think of it as a picture in the style of Ben but a great picture on its own.

Great shot!
As to the ear, I knew that if a stray cat was caught and fixed, they clip its left ear. My son got one with a clipped ear. So this was one lost and found and lost again.

Amazing alltogether!
As for Ben's challenge, the horse is perhaps too cemtered on the image, too parallel to the viewer. What do I know? Might want to ask him.
