I am not competent enough to comment or compare entries to Ben's style so I am not going to try.
A quick look and you can almost miss the man who blends in so well with the rocks on the shore .. I like the lines the waves make as the head towards him .. the driftwood(?) looks rather like a mammal who has taken up watch over his human, his beady eyes looking straight ahead .. thank you for a lovely story. |

Horizon and shoreline frame a huge mass of water -- and our simple subject, confined but quite relaxed in a corner of the frame. A well crafted composition. |

Must say that I do not think that Ben frames his shots, especially the dreamy, nostalgic ones. The man seems too big for the scene. The shot is fine but the elements do not form a coherent image IMHO. |

I can't quite make heads or tails of this. Appears to be only the shoulders of a man on the beach. Odd. Intriguing. And odd. |
