H2O by kiwinessComment: You know, I printed this out on regular paper, gave it to Melissa's 6th grade science teacher last year and she LOVED it! She still has it in her classroom and people are always asking her about it, LOL!

I should order a real print for her, IF it was only available, hint, hint, hint |

The First Touchby dsineComment: This had potential until the post processing. The flash and resulting shadows and then the adjustments made afterwards just ruined the shot for me. Too bright, to contrasting and bad shadows. A 2 |

Flowertouchby narcisaComment: At least they are touching each other. But all the flower shots in this challenge really throw me. I don't really understand how they fit the challenge. But that's me and I'm sure after the challenge we can discuss it in the forums. It's not a bad shot composition wise, I like the way ti's set up and the contrasting colors but the focus seems a bit off and the stone in the lower right corner seem to throw the balance off just a touch. All the flower shots are getting lower scores from me, sorry, a 2 |

Endearmentby chookieComment: This is a great snapshot of a candid moment but the flash and lack of focus overall really hurts the shot. A little more post processing to lessen the effect of the flash might help quite a bit. As is a 3 |

A Touch Of Gold (For Marie)by birdyblueComment: A lovely flower shot but I"m going to tell you what I told the others, I don't get the connection. I don't feel the subject per say and really don't think they belong in this challenge, maybe if Marie was stroking the flower against her cheek or something but sorry, a 2 |

A Touch of Rainby beckieComment: This had potential, with all the flower shots this one had a shot because of the title. But then when I pulled it up, it was out of focus (doesn't come off as a soft focus) and the colors seem off for some reason. I've never seen a flower that color and I visit greenhouses all summer with my clients. The stuff on the right of the shot is distracting, maybe a tighter crop on that side? As is a 3 |

Touching the Sunby film_de_verreComment: The bee almost gets lost in the center of the flower. Nice capture but a bit bright overall and almost over sharp, the sense I get from this flower is that it would hurt to touch it, not because of the reference to the sun (fire colored petals) but it would cut my finger or something. So many flowers in the challenge and I'm not really making the connection to the challenge and therefore voting them lower. Sorry, a 2 |

Center of the Bloomby admart01Comment: Not sure how a flower fits the challenge, maybe when it's over we can start a thread so all the flower entries can explain. I don't get a sense of touch and I don't really feel the subjet, if I could see more texture on the flowers that might help but I'm not really feeling it on any of them. This is a lovely shot but misses the mark for the challenge to me. A 2 |
