Nice shot, good setting, seems a little crooked though, like the cat is about to slide out the left side of the shot and could use just a touch more contrast, just a touch. A 9

Oh, that look, the look that says, "Love me! You just have to!" Very nice, good lighting, very nice composition, the only thing that bothers me is the edging, I'm not a big fan of this type of edging. So I hope a 9 is okay :)

OMG, so cute! I love this shot but the pink is a bit much for me, almost overpowers the poor baby! I also have a small dog, weighs out at 3 pounds on a good day, LOL! A 9

Taking my second run through and trying to comment as I go. I love this shot, the look, the composition, the choice to use b&w. There is something about the shot that bugs me though and I can't quite figure it out. A 9 for now but I'll probably be back to figure out what my bug is ;)

And what a nice pet that is, but to me really doesn't qualify for the portrait aspect of the challenge. If you had just gone for a shot of the camera, putting it in a portrait setting you might have done much better but this is just s snapshot of you taking a nice picture of flowers. Also the edges around you and the flowers is too defined and applying the blur was a good idea, the end image is a bit disconcerting. Sorry, a 3

Wow, where to begin. Well, first, it doesn't come off as a portrait to me, mor of a snapshot type picture. Yes, it is set up, obviously but still just a nice snap shot. The light is a bit harsh and the background is very distracting on the left, mayber if you had come from a different angle? There are a lot of little distracting things in this shot, the white line above the head, the people in the v of the leg and motorcycle and all the stuff in the baskets. I'm sorry but a 3 for this one.
