Nice, Macaws to love to clean don't they?

Nice idea, not a bad capture per say but there's not much to see as far as his/her actual face, if you were down a little lower and more to the side maybe? The only thing really in sharp focus are the short red feathers behind the eye, it it was on the eye it might also work better. A 7

Why yes it is! But a lovely one all the same!

Nice shot, good colors but the light to dark doesn't quite work for me for some reason. I'm thinking maybe because it's not more balanced, the light extends to far to the right and the overall crop seems a bit lop sided with the extra space on the left. Also the ear getting cut off doesn't quite work for me on a personal level when the rest of the shot has so much space around it. Maybe if you cropped in closer around the face, let me grab my majic envelopes here, hang on.............................Oh yeah, crop right in close to the face and under the chin and the ear works much better and gives the viewer a real feel for this one. Man, don't mess with Cesar! Look at the intensity in those eyes! Very nice capture, very candid and composition works to a point. Cesar is looing off toward the front right just a bit, the negative space on the left leaves the shot looking slightly off balanced, if it could have been cropped so the other side had the extra space............

Wow, what a stud he is too! The one in Gale's barn is named AJ, short for AppleJack.

This is a very nice shot, the angle is well done but I could have lived without the butt, LOL! :)

Coloration decsion was well done, just a bit of a bright spot on his nose but nothing major. Was at an 8 (because of the butt) but I'll forgive you for that and raise you to a 9 :)

WOW! I love it when they RUN! And you get the mane standing up like that! And the colors, the vibrant colors and the expression are priceless! So well done and then you had to go ruin the shot (for me personally) with the blurry edge. It would have been okay in the front and behind the mane and above the back but it's extended into the back and across the bottom and while you might have been trying to create a vinette or sorts it just didn't work for me personally. Is there any chance I could see the original on this one sometime? Hope I didn't offend. An 8

Have to comment on the horse picture! Lovely pony there, I love their shaggy manes!

A very nice shot overall and the conversion to black and white works well here. Just a few things bother me about the overall shot. The little girl doesn't look very happy for some reason, expressions are big to me in shots like this. Even is she wasn't smiling, her eyes still tell me she's bored and wants this to be over with. Maybe a shot with just the horse might do better, she ends up taking away from the friendly feel with her expression and I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings, I know what it's like to have kids who won't co-operate sometimes. As for the horse, very nice, bit of hay in his forlock there and he'snot really interested either. Just staring off, waiting for something, anything, I'm not sure what. I love shooting horses but one of the biggest pains is getting and keeping their attention for any length of time, even seconds! They can be as finicky as cats sometimes! a 7

Okay, I had to comment on the Chicken. My father raised these when I was growing up and we had one that was the meanest, nastiest rooster you would ever want to meet. You could kick that bugger clear across the yard and he'd come running back to fight again. He would even spur the car tires AS THE CAR WAS MOVING! He was nuts! It was shame he got killed when he tried to run ripshod over the geese and they chased him into their bathtub and piled in on top of him and drowned him, not that me and my sister sat there and watched them do it (we really hated that rooster but my dad wouldn't kill him).

Anyway, now that you have my story, here is my take on your little feathered friend here. First pass you got a 7 because I really didn't expect to see a chicken in here and the background threw me for some reason. Second pass, taking a little more time to look at it, the clarity, the lighting, the overall composition is there but something is still lacking, maybe it's the color, I see the reds but don't really feel them. And the darkness on the left side of the background bothers me just a bit, not sure why. But the long of the short of all this, since you read my whole story and did such a wonderful job capturing this feathered friend, I'm raising your score 2 points to a 9! :)

Is asking you, "JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" Very cute!

A nice shot, the angle is well done but the fuzzy fur on the left lower corner is a bit distracting and the broad line that goes up between the ears is also a bit distracting. Using my magic envelopes, if you crop a bit off the left, right and bottom, really bringing the face to the center and even cutting the ears off just a bit it makes a big difference i how I see the cat. Is this a bouncy Tigger? From this shot I would have to say no, LOL!

Nice capture overall but the light seems a bit bright on the chair behind Tigger, taking some of my attention away. The coloring on his face is great, has almost that bluish/gray tint you find in some of the gray cats and teh clarity on the face is wonderful. I had this at a 7 but am bumping to an 8 in the last hour! ;)

Jack is so cute! I like the shot with the exception of the stripes in the background, very distracting. Look like a suitcase of some sort that he's sitting in? He's a very patient little guy, hope you rewarded him well.

The overall shot also seems a tad dark with the exception of the light on Jack's face, flash usage? Oh and what is that white spot on the front of the box? Nitpicky I know but still distracting in the long run to me. A 7
