Good question! Excellent concept for the challenge, especially for this site! I love the colors in this shot, the reflections are fantastic and the gold on the film case is so perfect considering the name of the film! I really cannot find anything wrong with this shot! A 10!

Apple Core

A wonderful idea, the star of the apple for the challenge. But the colors really threw me at first, changing the color of the seeds and the edges was a bit disconcernting at first but the more I look at it, the more I like it at the same time! The bluish/green in the upper corners is a bit distracting, maybe a slightly tighter crop? Also the yellow across the bottom left corner. I'm starting this one at a 7, I'll be back to study it more later.

A Chilling Rememberance

Quite a few harddrives in this challenge and the great part is everyone approached them differently! This is a wonderful shot, the sharpness is a bit much for me but the colors are wonderful. The arm seems a bit too bright but that is a bit of an advantage too as it keeps me in the shot and pulls me towards the center with it's line. Starting with an 8, I'll be back.

Oh what I wouldn't do to be able to do this to the guy who says that line, LOL! A great idea, exposing the inside of the cell phone, great concept, good follow through on the shot. The image itself, at first glance looks close to perfect but with a little more examination, the DOF on the top is a tad distracting and the darkness on the upper left keeps trying to pull me out of the shot but the colors of the front of the phone fight back nicely. I'm starting this one at an 8, will be back.

What a beautiful shot, the focus, the lighting, the detail is fantastic. I love the concept, exposing the inside, I really can't find anything wrong with the shot or the idea. A 10!

Smoke from the front wheels! That is an inner beast! Nice shot, the clarity of the car, the motion of the tire, caught in just about the perfect light! Starting with a 9!

Very cool. You don't get to see the insence itself too often, so wonderful idea. The long exposure is great, the way the cone can be seen through is very good. The lighting is just a bit dark for me but otherwise a wonderful overall shot. Starting with an 8

Oh, poor dandylion! Meets the challenge but the cropping is just off for me. If the entire flower could have been included, I like the space on the left, helps with the balance but the cut off on the right throws me a bit. Starting with a 7, will be back.

LOL, aint' that the truth! Good idea, would have used a different background, the black blends in too much for me. The cropping is also just off for me, if you could have included the entire wrapper, though it does help bring you in from one side to the other. Starting with a 7, will be back.

Why yes it is! But yo can't really tell what part of your body it's on. I think if you had pulled back and shown a little bit more of where it was and the clarity was there, the bottom line is very sharp while the top line is very fuzzy. I do like the way the run angled across the shot, takes you from one side to the other. Starting with a 4, will be back before the end of the challenge.
