This might have fit the challenge a little better if it was zoomed out to reveal what body part the tatoo is on. The hand in the lower left corner is distracting because of the way it was cropped out.

I know how hard it is to take a photo of yourself, but the focus seems soft on the tattoo. Neat color for the butterfly.

Fits the challenge, but I find the image a little flat. The hand in the bottom left corner detracts. I think the black, flesh, black look would've been great, but the tattoo is a tad bit unsharp to me - it being the focus of the photo I think it should really pop or be crisp. The colors of the tattoo are great though, contrast well with the surrounding flesh & black colors. 4

This is probably the shot that best captures the spirit of the challenge( to my mind). It is something normally concealed, and on top of that, you're shown the viewer a private part of your personalitly as well.

Nicely done.

first of all, no one cares about your tattoo
secondly, it's a really lame tattoo and third, quite a boring picture

I'm not sure about the composition, especially the hand at the bottom left.

Good Points: Idea is great, composition nearly great.
Bad Points: tattoo itself is uninteresting, with no detail. Thus making the image the same. The hand is a distraction, without it the lines would be very clever and interesting.

Why yes it is! But yo can't really tell what part of your body it's on. I think if you had pulled back and shown a little bit more of where it was and the clarity was there, the bottom line is very sharp while the top line is very fuzzy. I do like the way the run angled across the shot, takes you from one side to the other. Starting with a 4, will be back before the end of the challenge.
