This is a beautiful shot, the way the rosary weaves through the picture is very nice and the DOF is also very well done, the clarity in the front to the blur in the back. The only thing that bugs me is the coloring. The purplish/pink hue hurts this shot to me, I'm thinking more gold or yellow tones for some reason. An 8

I love this host, the off center, the DOF, the lighting is as close to perfect as it could be, the contrast is also close to perfect and the border is not intrusive and doesn't take away from the shot. Started at an 8, moving to a 9

This is certainly a sacred place to my husband, LOL! A lovely shot overall, the way the green curves around the shot and the water framing it works very well. The colors could pop just a tad more and the cropping could be a little tighter on the bottom to me. An 8

This is a wonderful shot, the calm, serene feeling, a true place to be alone except for that tiny little house in the back! :) The DOF on this shot is wonderful, the mist rolling in and the reflection of the rock in the water is like a mirror. The bush in the lower right corner is a bit of a distraction to me and for some reason I think the colors could pop just a tad more. An 8

Very cool shot, I love the capture of the different sparks, if you had cropped out the white spot in the upper right, this would close to a 8 or 9 for me. I started at a 5 but am bumping to a 7

Statue of Mary In Church Garden

This is a very nice shot and the off centering of the statue works well in this shot but I would really like to have seen it in color, the black and white version leaves me wanting a bit. Also, maybe just a slightly different angle so the piller on the right wasn't in the shot? A 5

A dramatic shot no doubt, the contrast between the dark and lit areas is just a tad wanting. I like the crop of the shot, the tall tower on the left and the shorter side of the building on the right. The overall sharpening is a bit wanting to me and I started this at a 5 but am raising it to a 7
