Sacred Place..to me

it's beautiful, reminds me of my home in Montana. THe colors in the front are very nice and a good contrast to the blue of the mountains of the back. A slightly tighter cropping across the top and on the left would have made this shot work better for me, too much space there and the mountains just dropped off on that side instead of taking me out of the shot. This is a very pretty shot, the runners on the side bringing you into the shot and taking you to the alter, the almost mirror image in the cropping and the mystical haze on the front window. The colors are very vibrant and bold, maybe just a bit too bold? It seems it should be just a bit more subdued? and the cark line across the carpet in the lower part is abit distracting. Started with a 7 am going to an 8

How pretty! The fall colors behind the building and the reflections in the glass and off the lake in the front. I can feel the slight crispness in the air. This is well shot, the cropping on the top and bottom is perfect, allowing the one tree to be completely seen is a very nice touch. The cropping on the left is a bit loose, just slightly tighter to cut out the patch of green next to the building, having the slope of the roof take you out of the shot like the wall on the right does. I started this at a 6 but am going to raise it to an 8

This is a lovely building and the lighting is very dramatic overall on the building. The trees sadly take so much away from the overall effect of the shot, maybe from a different side or angle? A 6

This is a good idea and the framing is well done with the leaves and tree but the size and lack of clarity in any part of the shot really hurts this. DOF doesn't work i in this becaus no one part of the shot is in focus. The coloring is close to perfect and the cropping is very well done. A 5

A very nice winding path to take you through the shot, a bench to relax on when you are tired from your journey, a peaceful park to relax in. Ah yes, my cup of tea to be sure! I would have cropped just a bit more off the bottom, and a little looser on the left and bumped up the brightness and contrast just a touch. A 7

You have green trees! I"m JEALOUS!!!! :) Just kidding, must be wonderful to see sunshine and green leaves in November! :) I like the idea behind this shot, almost like a hiding place in the trees, looking out on the rest of the world but the contrast between the two is just a bit much, the trees on the outside are almost too bright! I started at a 7 but am moving this to an 8

Your title doesn't really fit the picture on this one to me but I won't hold that against you :) I like this shot, the rushing water, the feeling of motion, the snow on the brand makes a chill run down my spine. The slightly straighter crop would have worked better for ma nd mayber seein more of where the water is goind in the lower left, a better sense of motion and flow through the shot? Started at a 7, going to a 9

How pretty, the trees, the sunset, the quiet, peaceful feeling. Ah, can I come pull up a chair? This is a wonderfully composition and the corpping is verll well done, there seems to be some lines in the upper right corner on my screen, not sure where they are from but it's not too distracting. At first glance this shot looks a bit dark so it scored a 7 but after coming back and really looking it goes up to a 9, a tad brighter on the right and you would have scored a 10 :)

The star effect is amazing, I love it when candles do that! The set up on this shot is well thought out and you can tell you took some time to work this out. Having the knife come in on one side and the feather out on the other is another touch of a well thought shot and very well done. The disc in the center looks a bit off, like it's tilting or not quite set right and while I normally like a good star effect, there are just a few too many here for me. Started at a 67, am raising to an 8
