Loganby dsidwellComment: A good sharp capture with good tones, but I think you might have done better with some fill light in the front, which would have added some catchlights in his eyes, and brightened the lower part of his face a bit. Also, I think the extra space should have been on the left not the right, just given the way he is slightly turned. |

I'm thankful for my wifeby StevePaxComment: Nice tonal conversion; I like the closeup, but I am not sure there wasn't a more interesting composition. Also watch for her shirt, which is overexposed. |

My Parentsby arnitComment: An interesting light setup, but I am not sure the composition suits them; I don't think this is a good way to satisfy the rule of thirds. |

www.DoNotCall.govby JasonComment: Something to be thankful for indeed, but as a photo, and even in this speed challenge, I'm afraid it doesn't "move me". |

Stroke Survivorby Crafty SueComment: Nice, and good sentiment. I am not sure of the significance of taking it while shaving, or with his eyes so closed, but the overall impression is one of snapshot. |

Four Heartsby ColeyComment: An excellent idea, great for this challenge. But the lighting seems to be too flat. Also, would have been better without the right rings and sleeve. |

Unexpected Birthday Surpriseby ColeyComment: A gpod set up and generally well done! I think it might have been good to be a little more subtle than the sign in the background. A small investment in a hallmark birthday card, laying on the table. And the pregnancy kit placed more "naturally" on the table. Finally, a position with ajust a little more face towards the camera. But these are just for feedback, I do like the idea and shot. |
