You get a 10 for this portrait. I don't care a bit about your lighting or composition..... It's the spirit of your photo (and the spirit of your survivor) that move me. Awesome.

bad points Boring image, snapshot.
Good points Title is everything and I feel bad for not giving it a good score. I do think it's great that he has survived such a horrible thing, but as an image it doesn't work for me. sorry.

Nice, and good sentiment. I am not sure of the significance of taking it while shaving, or with his eyes so closed, but the overall impression is one of snapshot.

Nice title here. Shows a sad but good side. Having a relative myself who's come through this I know you thankful we all are that they are still around and doing fine.

I would have liked the picture to be a little less blue, the tiles are blue, but his t-shirt looks too blue when it is grey. Still, I really like this! 9

Wonderful for him, and you. My mom also has survived a stroke. Very frightening. She is doing okay but talking/numbers are very hard for her. I hope he does well, looks great!
