Very clever! A good simple shot but I think it could have been more interesting compositionally. The background is a bit distracting, and I think for this shot you could have cropped the video camera on several sides to make it more dynamic and less a "product" looking shot. Good imagination!

Wonderful texture and very good composition. I think the yellow part of the flower works so well, I find the redish center "distracting". I'd be interested to see how this looked with the red removed.

The light and tones are wonderful here. Very painterly. The composition works, but I find the greenery on the far left somewhat distracting and not as lush as the center stem and flower. That plus the right lean of the flower, and I would have been tempted to crop and put the flower in the left third. Overall, very nice.

Neat idea; love the color contrasts. I think it would be more dynamic without the curve at the top; really emphasizes the perspective and colors there, and ... much simpler!

Simple as the Sea

Nice light, and the scene is nice, though it would be nicer if the sail and people were closer; they are so insignificant here. Also: the horizon is tilted: you can adjust that via rotation within the rules. Next time you can watch for this both in postprocessing and while shooting. Sure looks like a pretty place!

Bare Symmetry

Good shot, very simple with good aesthetics. I think it would be best sharper; some USM would have helped (and I am not a USM obsessed person). Also, it would be good in the final version to get rid of the dark shadows/dirt in the snow or on the wall, whatever this is.
