Such a humble request (title), I cannot help but accept the invitation, and I think the image does it justice.

While some may object to the bud being crisper than the blossom or its right-of-center inclination, I am more given to the charm and natural elegance of this capture than to consider corrections. ;-)

The light and tones are wonderful here. Very painterly. The composition works, but I find the greenery on the far left somewhat distracting and not as lush as the center stem and flower. That plus the right lean of the flower, and I would have been tempted to crop and put the flower in the left third. Overall, very nice.

there is lot of dead space of to the left I would have cropped out like and inch or two over so you can still see the main stem in my opingion would be much greater a composition.

Wonderful composition, beautiful simple colours here. :-) Although I would like to see the rest of the flower on the left, I love this shot a much! :-)

nice lighting and subject. i would recomend posing/triming the green parts that cut through the flower in lower right and upper left to make the flower stand out better on the black. 8

Perhaps a bit too much glare on that prominent leaf.

Cut away 20% on the left and the composition gets much improved in my opinion. Lovely color and good sharpness.

Showing the flower in context with surroundings (as opposed to no surroundings) may get the simplicity theme across better. Nice shot.

Now, this is perfect - I like and understand the biblical reference! Makes me want to say "why didn't I think of that!" The only change I might have made would be to crop it so that the bud on the left is either completely excluded or included in the shot - but that's just me - I tend to like things very tidy, LOL.
