Perhaps the beak sticking out would have worked, but the feet don't, as they are dangling in space. It's actually hard to see the connection between the foreground bird and the tree, so he doesn't appear to be part of the picture. |

Take My Handby ColeyComment: Nice concept, good tones and perspective. But my perception is that she should have been looking in the direction of the hands. Also, there seems to be a lack of sharpness in the "in focus" areas. |

Glass of Wine and a Fire!by Dim7Comment: Nice idea, generally well done. Some comments: seems a tad tilted, it would be nice to have had enough light in the glass to see some color in the wine. Mostly centered composition is not as dynamic. Use of DOF is excellent -- just missed the DOF challenge! |
