Force Fieldby vtruanComment: Cute idea. The boy on the right looks like he's posing for 2001, a space oddysey. |

Ransomby xtabintunComment: Like most kidnappers, your randsom note is flawed. I presume you want a ribbon before the end of this challenge, not before this chellenge. And torturing the poor guy isn't in a kidnappers best interest. Anyway, all kidding aside, it's cute, and you probably will get your ribbon. Good luck. |

Old Bicycle Lanternby MonaComment: Interesting angle and overall pretty good shot (a biit of reflected glare--hard to control with a metal surface like this. I am not familiar with these but the "paper" like thing on the right inside detracts a bit from this shot as one of form. |

Wagon 1 from David Smithby clictacameraComment: Looks low tech; not sure what it is--art work? I suggest in the future when shooting something like this you try moving it away from the background. Also, the photo looks like it could be leveled (blacks/whites adjusted) and focused better. |

Sailingby TranquilComment: Nice symmetry; I like the idea to do this high key, but the predominance of non-white tones in the background area lessen the impact that a brighter background would have had. |

Old Stone Wall: Jackson, Pennsylvaniaby cloudsmeComment: The B&W treatment here is good, and the tones in the foreground wonderful. However, the 'subject' is relegated to the background here--both in distance and in terms of the focal point, and that weakens it. Without the caption, I would not have a clue what was being proposed here as low tech. While it's a beautiful photo, try to look at your photos as a "third party" and see if they tell the story you want. |

A boy and his wagonby slynneblarpComment: I had one of those when I was little.... fun, low tech toy. I like the black and white here, and the kid's expression is cute, but I think this would have worked better as a tight crop, showing the face, the ensignia, and perhaps the wheels. The grass is just too boring, and yet distracting, a background for this. |
