summer is doneby wkmenComment: This one has potential, with some really nice colors, but things can be improved (in order of importance):
1) The 50% vertical split composition is less impactful
2) the OOF foreground leaf is distracting
3) the flowery table cloth or cloth adds nice color, but perhaps you should exclude to emphasize the real growing things
4) the slight inclusion of an object (corn) on the left is not enough to count as part of the pic, but enough to distract.

I will remain open to all possibilities in 2005by mrorange002Comment: Happy New Year Eric!
I love this shot, but I think the burn-in factor is too obvious here, e.g., via the light glow around your daughter.
I wish you and your family all of the best for 2005. I hope we get a chance to go out shooting together again as well.
Regards--Neil |

Observingby peeteComment: Very good capture, a nice soft light and good composition. A little light or catchlights in the persons eyes would have made it a bit better. |

Mama's gonna buy you...by basia03Comment: That's one spoiled keet. It's a good shot from the point of view of showing the keet in the cage, and to some extent, the girl, but if the bird comes out, I think that might have been a better shot. I've had numerous keets over the years and they are great! |

Mutual Trustby GatorguyComment: Crikey, now there's a cuddly pet! Is it stuffed or live? And I wondered why people have pitbulls! This guy would have a pit bull for lunch. But your house doesn't look like a good environment to keep a gator. Good capture, though it would have been better to isolate the subjects from the background a bit more. |
