 I can't tell you how many shots I had to take of these two. This wasn't my first choice, but it was the only one where both of them looked relatively happy. I had one perfect one of my daughter, but the cat was trying to get away, ugh, so this was the only shot that even remotely fit the challenge. This is my first entry although I've been watching the challenges and voting for around a year or so. I don't expect it to rate terribly well, but you gotta start somewhere!

Actually, that shirt is one of her favorites because it has some sort of glittery thread accenting each and every black stripe (both sides) :) I totally agree about the clarity though, I would've liked for her eyes to have come out sharper.

Nice finish for your first entry. Smoky doesn't look like he is cooperating. I didn't enter this challenge, because my lighting was horrible. What I did do though is have my daughter put a little peanut butter on the side of her face not in the photo. The dog was very cooperative and candid then.

You can tell that THIS is a kitty that is used to being loved on by one little girl :) I really like the way you used such bright colors in her clothes to pop out the picture.
