Gearsby pumaComment: Very nice. I like the angle and colors. I don't know what the brown object is upper right, but it is to me inconsistent with the wonderful color scheme here, and detracts a bit from the mood set. It would be nice to try and exclude that! But I like it overall. Bumping up. |

mechanics of motionby tazzaComment: Nice capture of the balls in motion, though I wish they were a bit more visible. Bumping up. |

Retiredby scrum8Comment: Very nice macro with good colors, composition, and shallow DOF. I particularly like the clearly defined snow here. Bumping up. |

time 'n' motionby sidpixelComment: Nice composition! This appears to be a bit blurry though--maybe a focus or a resizing issue. |

solitary sunsetby wkmenComment: This has a wonderful mood, but I would like to see two changes here:
1) Noise reduction
2) Separation of the foreground sillouette from the background. In other words, some sort of tonal separation--otherwise, his/her head is lost in the mountains. It looks like there's a bit of light/sun halow around his/her head. That could be just the ticket, if it can be emphasized. Or the levels/exposure of the foreground and background could be done in two passes and the foreground or background lightened a bit. |

summer is doneby wkmenComment: This one has potential, with some really nice colors, but things can be improved (in order of importance):
1) The 50% vertical split composition is less impactful
2) the OOF foreground leaf is distracting
3) the flowery table cloth or cloth adds nice color, but perhaps you should exclude to emphasize the real growing things
4) the slight inclusion of an object (corn) on the left is not enough to count as part of the pic, but enough to distract.
