From the Darkness...by myceliumComment: You reminded me of this in the forums. The name I was thinking of was "Sideshow Bob".
I hope this didn't offend you...it was meant as a lighthearted note to preface my comment that I liked the different tact of this shot and how it came out in general!
Here's some pictures of him, in case you haven't seen him. I guess it's just the way your hair was positioned.

Mona Lisaby liebeComment: Beautiful pose and great catchlights. Looks like it's a bit overprocessed to get rid of the background though, or maybe she was underexposed? In any case, the focus is very soft and in a portrait, the eyes (at least) should be crisp, even when you intentionally soften other parts. |

bird.jpgby fadedbeautyComment: I really like this one! Perhaps a bit of sharpening for the head and eye, and it would have done really well. |

The Aftermath of Warby mistkerlComment: I never commented on this but it's fantastic, and touching. I think in advanced editing, this could have won, perhaps by deemphasizing the pole in the background and the colorful objects in the upper right.
By the way, this touched me and I gave it a 10! If you are still in Iraq, I wish you well, and if it's not your home, most of all, a safe return to your home. |
