Commenting only: I really like the concept, and the silhouettes especially as they appear posed (or candid). The composition is a bit too towards the edge to me, especially since the low-fi look of the sky makes it less appealing as a sunset photo. I know people went low-fi for the challenge, but this would be great with a little more breathing room and higher production values.

Commenting only: I find this a pretty humorous juxtoposition. Well seen and caught. Overall it works pretty well, though I think I might like it better if the girl were looking at the bird, and perhaps with a bit better fidelity.

Commenting only: I like the grain here, the subject is interesting enough...I see a story that she's leaving. I don't personally think the OOF blur is necessary or effective here though, especially with such a closeup. Perhaps further back a lensbaby style blur would be interesting to me. Or midway back...maybe motion blur...she's leaving!

I think you guessed too low. I'd say 6.5 or better. It's a wonderful scene. Love the silhouettes of the people and birds showing the grand scale. 6.5
