Excellent! I think it might be nice to have been back a bit (or cropped a bit less). Also, to avoid some of the brighter backgroun (white) highlights. But I know how hard these shots are, and this is generally terrific!

Adirondack Autumn

Love to know when and where this was taken--I am thinking of heading into the adirondacks tomorrow. I didn't see much color though yet on webcams in the lake george region. But this shows some nice color--and it's got to be at least a week old. The lake looks great and serene. Two technical issues: you need a GND filter for this shot to better equalize the sky light so it's manageable. That really hurts an otherwise fine shot. Also, and it may be an illusion, but I get the feeling this is pitched to the left a bit.

This is a great shot--I knew it would do well. It has a real inkblot feel to it in thumbnail, as well as great details when you look at it enlarged. Congrats on #11.

Senior Grunge

It's a great shot, but I don't personally think the grunge is applied to a good effect here. I think this is also true of the other grunge photos you posted of him. To me, the grunge adds distraction to the background, rather than looking like texture, as it does, say in Joey's photos (or see my one grunge photo, where I used Joey's technique).
