Jumping for Victory by sjonniComment: Woohoo! I picked two blue ribbon winners in a row! Congratulations on a stunning, fantastic shot. |

It's In The Eyesby K-RobComment: Funny looking "person"! Cute dog, though. I dunno, I wish the DOF was greater. But I will admit, that's a killer facial expression! |

flirtaceous. by theodor38Comment: What? No scaly skin? Seriously -- another fine shot. You are really in the groove with your "model" by now... Good expression, great job making us almost stare into that right eye of yours (I mean, of his). This is a good portrait and would also have been good for the Off Screen challenge (or whatever it was called). |

Photographers portraitby birgirComment: Could have entered this in PURPLE! Neat shot, lovely use of ight, and a bit too dark on the left hand side (of the model) for my taste. Composition is excellent. |

Mayor of Dogvilleby ellamayComment: Obviously, this doesn't meet the challenge. It's also a bit dark, particularly around the eyes and under the mouth. I like what's going on with the ears (how did you do that?) but I miss being able to see those eyes. |

Captain George Highlighted.by graphicfunkComment: Not sure what your title means, but what does that matter? The picture is a good capture. I'd crop some more off top. The arms look just a tad out of focus to my aging eyes. It's a good portrait; I'm sure he or his family would want it framed and on the piano. |

Someday.....by geewhyComment: Nice, dreamy expression. The light on her arm is a bit too much, and there's a wisp of hair going into her eye that is distracting. Lovely expression, though, and definately a keeper as a photo! |

Portrait Doubleby ColeyComment: Thisi s a fascinating image but, to me, it doesn't work well as a portrait. The way it makes her eye look on the right side kind of creeps me out, and the disembodied head adds to that effect. I guess I'm admiring the technique but suggesting it isn't working for me as a portrait. Just my two cents -- and I can't even vote! |

Veroniqueby sahkoComment: I like this shot a lot. The model's pose is refreshingly different and says something about her. The only nit I have is that the cushion has little saggy lines in the corner under hand. Now THAT's a NIT! I can't vote, but that nit wouldn't take away anything from a truly good photo. |
