Oh, what the heck. I'm raising my vote to an 8 on second consideration (from a 7). Clearly meets the challenge, VERY interesting composition. I can't imagine people actually bought and live in these houses! I like that there's a car in every driveway, too. Good symmetry. About the only thing I don't like is the dark sky; wish it was lighter and had some clouuds. Oh, darn it all, I'm going to raise it again to a 9. You'd better get a ribbon after all this angst!

Black and White

This is a real neat photo. I gave it a seven. It does not, however, really meet the spirit of the challenge. Sure, there's black and white in the picture and they are opposites. But admit it -- this is a great shot of two birds in flight and without a title to remind us, I don't think most folks would see it as a study of Opposites. That said, it's a lovely photo and, as I said, I gave it a 7.

Thisi is a good example of an image with just a tiny bit of rust that none-the-less is ALL about rust, because of the desaturation of the other colors. Good job. Not crazy about the inner frame. 6
