The Chaseby bjoernComment: I really enjoyed this image. It's really well captured--especially with not just one, but two riders relatively crisply in focus for such a kinetic composition. I'm sure its placement here only stems from the lack of dramatic background blur. But in the upcoming Sports challenge, for instance, this would have been a major contender! Congrats. |

Enter the dragonby skewsmeComment: Very interesting perspective. I stared at this a long time pondering the title, so I'm glad you shared your clarifying image. :-) |

Qiang training by TiberiusComment: I wondered if this was accomplished with a GoPro. :-) One of my higher scores in the challenge for the creativity here--and for the upending of expectations. I'm assuming that to accomplish this, you had to remain relative stationary as the subject, and the camera itself had to be in dramatic motion instead? |

Super Jet by LevTComment: This was my highest score for the challenge. Having spent so much time trying to get ANY subject in focus, let alone one this large in the frame, I couldn't but admire the refined technique exhibited here. :-) A well-earned Blue! |

keep it rollingby PennyStreetComment: Even though I realize it isn't the most "technically" well-executed motion panning shot, this was my personal favorite in the challenge, as I find the residual blur of a subject in motion quite compelling when it's accentuated by tasteful editing. And that's definitely what you've got here. I could easily see this on a metallic print sitting in an urban cycle shop or coffee bistro. :-) |

bumper car by primabarbaraComment: LOL - One in 768 sounds about right from my experience trying to grab something for this challenge! Congrats on the patience it took to capture this prize-worthy shot. If I had had the time and occasion to do so, I had in mind to try for something very similar to this at a nearby roller skating rink. The low lighting REALLY adds to the challenge, I imagine. :-) |

Apple and Pearby DistantColoursComment: This was a favorite for me, and the simplicity and elegance of its execution is what kept drawing me back for another look. I've decided it feels like a cheeky cover image for a mental health article on masking and impression management. :-) |

hare hare by TiberiusComment: Congrats on a well-earned Red here. A top pick for me. I wanted to comment on this in voting, but then as now I struggle to articulate what about this is so effective for me. All I know is it registers as exotic, emotionally evocative, and just plain artistically compelling--something greater than the sum of its component images. |

On the other side by NeatComment: Sublime. Surreal. Contains multitudes. A terrific example of an image artistically bridging the gap between the legible and the ephemeral. |
