The title, to me, suggests something subversive about the editing choices--makes me wonder how this might look if it had been stylized under something like a cracked glass overlay or grunge vignette to visually interrupt the softness of the scene. This was one of my personal favorites in the challenge. It feels like it sits somewhere in the realm between well-composed snapshot and editorial sports photography--and i mean that as a compliment. Like it captures the dedication and enjoyment of an athlete in training rather than one enjoying their moment in the sun, as it were. Thats a wonderful twist on the challenge theme. 🙂
