Defiance by Ragga2000Comment: Consummate execution. I'm betting you're really proud of this one. :-) |

Bold and Determined!by noranekoComment: Love the shot and the selective focus processing. My only reservation is the eyes, which to me are distracting because of something I can't quite put my finger on. Something about the contrast or white level registers as unnatural. That doesn't impact my vote, though. |

Dead Batteryby BarronessComment: I wondered which variation of this pun would show up this time. Nicely done. B-D |

Here comes the sunby smurfguyComment: It's practically criminal how such a consummately gorgeous hibiscus capture like this gets little more than a yawn here. This is truly glorious floral imagery, expertly captured and brilliantly processed, especially with the use of space. |

Power Playby kanajComment: Originally posted by Melethia: How fun! I love LEGO. I've discovered it as an adult and I really enjoy it!! My most recent build was the Himeji Castle. I went there with my nephews last year and decided I needed to have in in LEGO a well. |
That's awesome. :-) Yeah, I think "adult LEGO" is a lot like adult coloring books. It's sense-making and richly therapeutic in ways that you appreciate more the older you get, I think. I imagine for older adults, especially, it's a fantastic way to preserve neuroplasticity. |

Sailing into the infiniteby VitaminBComment: Awesome view and wonderful composition, for me. A little perspective correction on the horizon would help with the wide-angle distortion, it appears. I also feel it in a high-contrast b/w more than this color-as-almost-grayscale version. But that's just an aesthetic, and not part of my voting. |

End of Day, End of Summerby LevTComment: A gorgeous shot exactly as it is. But personally, I would prefer the version without the distracting human in the foreground--purely an aesthetic choice. The color grading and lo-fi textural interest throughout the frame are pure magic for me. |
