Excellent clarity. Nice composition and very wonderfully rendered. I like the grunge look - the dark/dirty hands really draws out the details in them. Lighting is wonderful. Nothing I would change at all. Very nicely done. 10

Nice simple image, very good clarity, lovely lighting - though I wish the apple had a bit better lighting so instead of merely reflecting the light for the most part and getting its shape lost in shadow, it was highlighted a bit more, especially since it adds the only pop of color. I think the composition is perfect. Well done. 7

Heh. Nice frogs. Sharpness looks good. I like the contrast between the background and the frog coloring. I like the concept for this image but there's just something about it that doesn't draw me in. I'm not sure if its the composition or what. 5

Good use of natural lighting. I also like the way the coloring has come out. The composition isn't very inspiring, seems a little unbalanced. The image also feels a little oversharpened but the over-sharp nature does work for the image - coupled with the interesting color tone (sort of a light weathered tone) it gives the image an almost surreal look, not entirely but it gets close. 5

Good lighting, though the left side looks like it is a bit darker than then right. The electronic dealy has an interest to it with all its gadgetry but I think the image could be stronger if you had done something more to the composition, added more than just light to what was already there. 4

Nice crisp image. The title helps fit it to the challenge as he doesn't scream ten years old to me, but no matter. Nice use of natural light and some may find the bubbles distracting but I really like the effect they give. Almost light fairy lights. 5.

Nice luminance in this image. Lighting is just right. Spot on for the challenge. Focus looks good though a tad soft in a few areas and a bit of artifacting but that could be due to compression. Well done. 6

Stories of Her Life

What I like best about this photo is if you were to crop it anywhere, be it just the hands, the bottom half of her face, just her eyes.. it is still powerful and spellbinding in its rich detail. Very few images I've seen can so easily become multiple mini-masterpieces when broken up that way. Amazing detail, amazing woman, amazing talent.

bad end to a good jump

Ooh, I had to cringe as this was loading. That looks horrible. The focus is excellent, the action is amazing, I can almost feel the thud. The light is nice, not too harsh yet not so low that it obliterates details. The jockey's jodhpurs(?) have a bit of a hot spot on them but that fades into the pain of the image. I hope the horse and rider were okay after this. Good capture of a tough moment. 7
