A bit of setup - Diorama style. ;-)
Used a dragan filter on duplicate layer, decreased opacity and merged, dodged & burned (as if they haven't had enough), sharpened, cropped, rotated slightly, resized.

I was surprised nobody requested validation. I did "create" much of it in Photoshop. But then I printed it and cut & glued it into a shoebox. :)

No woodies were harmed in the making of this photo. I had already burned them several times for previous images.

That's a lot of work.... freak.

;-)

I have too many bad memories of 4th grade social studies diorama assignments. Hmmm... Vermont maple syrup diorama fiasco comes to mind.

I like your setup - it is interesting seeing how you did it, as it looks quite realistic, especially the "texture" on the bricks. One thing that confused me was the smaller one sitting on top of the larger one - is that supposed to be a person and their child? In any case, I'm sure that's just me and I didn't vote down for that. Also another thing that might be interesting (not better really, just interesting) to see is how it would look if the darker leg was towards the foreground (which, since it was already burnt, would involve flipping the whole thing around).

I cannot say no to this pathetic woodie. 10 for you. It would be kinda nice for a photo to win a ribbon from compassion instead of competition... ok, really it's pity... 10

I am sorry, but I can't help you. Whilst I am usually a firm supporter of all woodies and many other under-dogs, you are totally relying on the title and I can't forgive that. DNMC and don't come crying to me, you brought that on yourself.
