Siena 2by JudiComment: Haha. Awesome! That really made me chuckle. I was wondering if someone would be doing this and was delighted someone did!
(Being ultra-critical cause I can't see anything at all wrong with it) the original was very very soft all over. I think the textures of the cloth on the left and top left are maybe a bit rough for this picture. The textures in the SIENA were... different and I think (in a comparison sense) that it suited the shot better.
Love the eyes. Great prop replication. |

bullseyeby holygroundComment: I didn't score this highly because it didn't meet the challenge specifications as I saw them (I imagine you've heard that a bit this challenge).
However. I like the picture. Nice detail on the dart board. Nice blur. |

Magic Ballby boone168Comment: Excellent image. One criticism is that I can see you in there. It might have been possible to remove yourself from the image and trigger the shutter remotely. The stand may have been obscured by other lines in the shot. It's no big deal, though.
I really like it. 10 :) |

Oxidationby banmornComment: I like the symmetry of this shot. The broken glass panes is also very nice. |

October 16th 1816by nicoengelbrechtComment: In a morbid way I've always really liked graveyard shots. I think the shot's well composed, but I find the trees in the background a little distracting. If there was a way to enhance the lettering on the gravestone it might have been nice to see them more clearly too.
But, there's a nice dissarray of stonesin the background. The trees in the BG aren't as distracting as I first thought they were. |

Moth Moonsby tomeComment: I love how smooth this feels. The palm and the lights match the silky sky so well. Nice work. |

Distorted Spheresby HarryYComment: This is a nice simple image. I've always liked how bubbles interact. It's fascinating. I like the use of the DOF on this, and the light dispersion halow on the bigger bubbles is nice. |

Gilding the lilyby NMNelmsComment: I think the best part of this photo is the collection of those five things (I don't know what they're called) that come from the centre of the flower. It seems to me that some of the water droplets are more in focus than that is. It kind of draws the attention away from the.... power point of the shot I'm afraid to say.
Great composition, though. And I count water drops as spheres! |
