I don't think I've seen a whole pile relating to sentinel, though...
I also attempted to figure out what Thoreau might refer to... but failed.

The problem I have with this is that there isn't a direct association with the title and the image--there are lots of pawns here. Not just one. But that said I think I'm one of the few here who votes according to titles.
Other than that good image. Good sentinel display.
I think you should always export to the max allowable size. In my opinion it will always make the image look and feel better.

I gave this an 8. I love shots where you don't have a clue what they are first off, and I got a real satisfied sense of "ahhhhhhh" when I saw what it was. I really liked it.
Initially I thought the stuff on the left might have been a fountain or leaves or something, but now I'm not so sure after seeing the colour version. What is it?
