Clockwork by Alex_PetriniComment: Congratulations Alessandro! It is a great pleasure to see your work rewarded as it should, given the creativity and execution quality. It is true it was not that easy to find a good word to illustrate, especially for non-native speakers, and your choice is perfect. Well done! |

imprisoned by rozComment: Congratulations Roz on your ribbon! I am so glad it won one, as it was clearly my favorite of this challenge. The textures are simply wonderful, and the whole image is extremely interesting to stare at. Marvelous. |

Never Trust Ikea!by Alex_PetriniComment: I'm very surprised of the score this obtained, it deserves way more in my opinion! The scene is funny, I love your both expressions watching all those unexpectedly flying toys fooling around :) The angle is also clever and works perfectly with the action. Better luck next time I suppose :-/ |

Poker Faceby Samantha_TComment: Yay for cats! I'm sure they would be incredibly hard to beat at Poker: when they decide to, they can be unreadable. The lighting and colors harmony are perfect once again Samantha, congratulations on the top 5 :) |

Darth Sushi by gyabanComment: Originally posted by snaffles: Love it Christophe! How'd you do the lightsaber? |
Thanks a lot Susan!
For the lightsaber, I used a plastic toy, that I dismembered in 2 parts, photographed separately: the handle first, then the blade itself. Since the latter was made of translucent plastic, I used black cardboard as a custom adapter to a studio strobe: this setup permitted me to obtain realistic reflections on the tank. Then in post-processing I enhanced the colors and added a 'glow' effect. |

"Today the dog, tomorrow the World!" by njsabsComment: Congratulations Jen! What a funny image, I like it a lot. Not mentioning I am fond of cats (did you know my last name means 'kitty' in Polish?), so I'm very glad yours won :) |

Everywhere by JudiComment: I agree with Bear, the hair is wonderful, and your choice of color for the background is perfect. You have a beautiful daughter indeed, and you surely know how to lit her and give her beauty justice. Congratulations about it, and of course about the ribbon. |

THE AFTER YOUS : Deluxe Tour Limited Edition by hotpastaComment: I actually love the aliens, and the labels are pure genius. It really looks like a real cover, and I wouldn't be surprised if you'd actually get requests from real bands :) Great work, very convincing! |
