I'm wondering if the dark reflection adds to it. I guess it kind of gives a sense of mystery....I'm not sure if it's a bit distracting, voted earlier.

I can relate to what you said about dying. I remember sitting on my sisters bed, (I think I was about 9 or 10) and having a conversation with her about death. I can recall talking about how I just can't imagine not ever living again, not ever laughing or playing or talking or breathing. I thought to myself how can this life be all there is, what's the purpose and point of it all, what are we doing here, what happens when we die.

Fast forward around 20yrs and all my perplexing questions were answered, amazing when you know!!! Actually amazing is an understatement.

Hope you find the answers soon. I get the feeling you want to know judging by all the notes you leave behind.

I thought the processing on this photo was just absolutely gorgeous. The composition is just perfect.
I'm not sure if you've entered this before I do feel like I've seen it before however I think it was the fact that the home was not real that it didn't score that well maybe a different time in a different challenge it probably would've won.

PS is that a lovely new engagement ring. Is it on your daughter's finger congrats anyway if it is :-)

Ha, I was watching my favourite show last night 'escape to the country' you probably know that British show. Anyway the couple looking to escape was from Devon. Anyway I've said to my husband if we ever build I would love to build a Stonehouse they are just so warm and inviting, so Kudo's to you, lovely home!
