I like the sparse bean placement. Keeps the photo simple while adding interest. I do wish there were a bit less noise in the photo.

Overall, a good idea. I would like to mention some things that could make this a better photo:
* Seems like you may have used on camera flash. Notice how that gives very harsh shadows and flattens out the image? Try finding a way to light the scene without that.
* There is some sort of shadow in the bottom/middle of the photograph which is very distracting. Watch out for unwanted shadows and highlights.
* The pen while nicely angled, is simply clutter in my eyes. I think I would remove it or replace it with a fancier pen.
