Thx Oliver, coming from a master stock photog. much appreciated. The scale is level, when in theory it should be heavier on the right ($100), but the OOB idea was to show that $100 is now equal to $1. I was going to put numbers in front of the bills, 1970 on the left and 2009 on the right but thought that would spoil the fun of it.
I used dollars instead of my own currency as I thought it would be more globally recognised by the voters. The lighting was a simple 100w halogen and should have been above and behind the camera rather than off to my left slightly. WB was Incandescent, I will experiment more with WB settings next time I try this.

Mesmerising eyes, yet not studio-like, made me look again and again and again, the unkempt hair, the hand. The lighting is just fab, not harsh or dazzling. This is a really good portrait.
