Way to go on the top 10!

I didn't even bother voting (don't tell anyone) so I didn't see this until now.

What an intense look. Was one of the kids acting up that day? It reminds me of the shot of Lou. I'd say you guys share the same geen pool, if I didn't know you were family by marriage ;)

The BW, DOF, contrast and sharpness are perfect!

i had a look thru the challenge during voting .. i remember this one coz i was going to make comment ..
i was thinking it was you at the time, but not totally sure .. i loved the particularly intense stare, the unshaved face and the b&w treatment .. they say you cant judge a book by its cover, but a lot of the time when you see a person's face you get an idea of what's inside .. if that's the case with you then you're incredibly wise, intuitive, perceptive and deep .. you poor buggar .. lol .. !!
anyhooooo .. congrats on 8th, its a brilliant shot .. sorry the fly beat you .. in a perfect world we would'v shared the red .. !!! .. you for something that has depth and meaning and me for an insect whose details most ppl dont see .. they might be grateful for that tho .. !!

When I first saw this, I thought now there's a face that has experienced life to the fullest. Great character, and very photogenic, congrats on the top 10 finish. Should have been higher.

The exposure is just perfect here...every detail in his face just pops. You really captured the intensity in his eyes as well. Great job!

Great character portrait. Clear expression in the eyes, no special effects just a really good photo. love the very sharp focus to gather detail..a 9 in this group.
