Streetby GinaRothfelsComment: Looks suspiciously like a new South African mall going up. Only one bloke I know recently doing B&W and works in the construction industry here :) Gritty and grainy, perhaps intended for a recent Grain Challenge? It's a good fit for such an industrial image with bold sky and wide distortion in the verticals |

Hardscrabbleby pmichaudComment: The blend between colour lower half and b&w upper half is compelling, and weird! Most unusual landscape. Have we conquered Mars? |

Spring Debutby digifotojoComment: Wonderful composition and colours offsetting the deep dark BG. Pity the JPG compression you used has created noticeable pixelation. |

Broken by BrinComment: Very 70's Agfa Slide film blue/grey in the sky and dullish browns. Lovely image specifically PP to give me the feel of Nat Geo Mag in the 70's. |

Perchedby RobskiComment: Wonderful scene, great POV, sky and smooth lake. I'd love to give this an 8 but the blue hue from the sky has "dyed" the moss and rocks blue where they should be green and grey. It could be argued that this is a natural cause and effect however I found in some of my work that when I removed that hue it did make the image more pleasing and balanced, as my eyes naturally adjusted and corrected it at time of shot. My opinion based on landscape photography experience of late. |

treeflash gets the birdby daisydavidComment: In my parlance this is a "BWB" > Branch without Bird :)
Yes you've got perspective but something compelling is missing. The lens flare I think is not enough to carry the image. |
