Splash - milk to the chocolate

This is an effective one, I like it a much. The splash into the chocolate is amazing!!! :-) I would have applied a different crop, this way the plate's edges are too close to the frame. I would use a tighter crop around the splash, I think it's worth to get rid of the plate, it doesn't add too much. Centered compositions work better with tighter crops, I think so. :-) (7 - because I still love the splas and it must have been difficult to take the shot)

There are too many things on this shot, and I can't find a system in the composition. Why the cognac? Why the coffee? Why did you crop off from the chocolate? I Think a few bars of chocolate and one little flower would have done better. This way your photo is too busy and I don't find the main subject. Colours are great and I also like your background. DOF is excellent! :-) Personally I would have placed the eplty slid a bit more lower, for example cutting the sweet on the bottom off. For me, that composition seems a bit more balanced, it's just an idea. (7)

Uhh... I think WB is definitely wrong here, the chocolate has bluey shades. Lighting is too harsch, the reflection of the flash is too strong on the handle, and there are blow outs and aberration on the white sweets. The background isn't impressive either. The angle you chose is good, but there are still a lot to improve. Use diffused lights and set up WB for indoor bulb. Avoid using too dark and too light elements on the photo if you are not sure about light metering with great contast. I was hesitating about 2, but for the composition I give you the higher value. (3)

Great diagonal composition, I also like the brown shades. Filling the frame was a good idea, maybe lighting could have come from a lower angle but I am not sure. Simple, and good shot, maybe I still mi ssomething, but the problem must be with me. (8)

Good idea and crop. Though I feel problems with WB, the chocolate seems to be too brick-red for me and lighting is too harsch. For an erotic effect, use more diffused and mystical lighting, to avoid blow outs and strong shadows. I feel your border a bit rivalising with the main subject, choose a less wild colour for the inside thin line. Keep trying. :-) (3)

Unique idea, composition works very well! :-) I like the additional meaning of the photo, and the fill-the-frame effect. IMHO, it could be a bit sharper, seems like a bit OOF (out of focus), it distracts me and looks strange. (5)

I think less would have been better here. The standing glass and the flat plate somehow breaks the balance here, the glass is also tilting to the right. I would have captured a smaller part of the plate, rather cut from the plate, it would have been more effective. The background is untidy, and lighting could be improved, too. Use diffused lights from more directions, and at least you could have ironed the table-cover before the shot. Keep trying, the stuff on the plate looks good. :-) (3)

I would have left just a few mms more space on the top, and somehow I would have skipped the dark corner on the bottom left. Otherwise a great photo! Lighting is spot on, colours and sharpness are great, I would really like to taste it! :-) (9)

Sorry to say that, but this isn't really the type of photo I expected for the challenge. Catching scripts is the wrong way, try to capture a REAL chocolate instead, no matter if it's a bad composition or so, you would get comments to improve your skills if they see you take the effort. (1 - but I hope to see good photos from you)
