The Joy of Pregnacyby emily212Comment: This is a nice shot. I like the soft processing and the choice of B&W. Two things I can think of to bring up here. I think the model is looking too far off into space. Try getting her to look a little bit more at you but not like right at you. Or perhaps you need to be a bit higher with your camera placement and not shooting up into her chin.
The other thing is the setting. This would look better using a brick wall or something urban, or even an old barn wall and something completely rural... but the garage door isn't relly doing it for me as far as the setting. I do like the horizontal perspective. |

Yellow Lupineby EstimatedEyesComment: I like this. I would take out a little bit more of the foreground and get down a litle lower on the subject. Otherwise, nice landscape shot! |

Memories of Flightby AarthekComment: I like the angle you have made, but the leading line doesn't really take me to anything in particular. There is just a real lack of subject and nothing stands out. |

working bee on a Yellow Flowerby whiterookComment: This looks pretty heavily cropped and not quite a macro shot. I like the colors but it is not real sharp. YOu got the flower details, bt lost them on the bee. Shooting in the harsh afternoon sun can be difficult... I have discovered the Sunny f16 rule. In mid day sunlight, use an aperture of f16 with a shutter speed equal to 1/iso. So at ISO 100, shutter speed would be 1/100. You should look it up online. The Sunny f16 rule... I have been having fun with that because it doesn't limit you to shooting only in the golden hours! |

Visions of Grandeurby picklenoseComment: Nice use of selective focus to frame the subject! The pop of red stands out well. It is a good documentary photo with a nice rhythm in the line of bikes. |

Been Placesby tfarrell23Comment: The latest craze in PP is this grunge look and you used it well with the subject here. It does bring out the color and tones of the image. |

E I D E Rby GlanniComment: Interesting sort of symmetry going on with the shape of the ice and the shape of the duck! Nice eye. I like the cool colors. I wish you would have cropped off the black piece at the left edge. That would have also served to put the duck more into the bottom left third creating better composition. |

Sunset by diverssComment: Great deep red and orange colors in the sunset. The leading line of the tree tops takes you right to the dimly lit building. A well placed horizon in the bottom third allows the color of the sunset to be the subject. The soft focus and lack of detail in the shadows is a matter of opinion. I would like to see it sharper, but that is my opinion. |
