the photographerby 2mccsComment: Added texture seems quite unnatural, with scratches at several different angles and different in nature. Whole frame feels tilted to the left. |

Portalby GilesComment: Bumping. Enjoy it each time I come back to it. Very pleasing composition and tonal range. Plus great use of drone. Based on location and drone involvement this has to have been taken by Giles. |

Winter Shadowsby markwileyComment: Didn't manage to complete comment before rollover. Another great tree shadow shot, Mark. I like the composition. |

Path of Paradiseby Alex_PetriniComment: I gave it a 7, but for my taste there is rather too much "glow".
ETA: I wrote the above knowing that the objective of using the Orton effect is to product glow! Perhaps some things are improved by adding a lot of glow and other things not so much and clearly this personal taste. Message edited by author 2015-03-16 21:54:47. |

Richmondby MichaelCComment: Lovely evocative picture. Interesting colors and textures all around to enjoy, but the eye keeps coming back to the glowing boat. My top scoring image. |

Daybreak by markwileyComment: There is something about tree shadows on snow that I love, but I typically find it hard to capture the feeling that the scene evokes in me. This does the job wonderfully, with lovely skies to boot! Congrats on a great shot, and finish. |

Blinded by the Lightby P-A-U-LComment: To continue the sheep metaphor from the discussion thread... I think your sheep stopped and ingested something stronger than grass! |
